Shoes-mania 3

Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, shoes time again… Girls never had enough of shoes, I guess, although most of the time when I looked at my shoes rack, I was telling myself, yeah, I should stop buying any, but every time when I wanted to pick a pair of shoes which can match my outfit, I will find myself wearing the same pair again and again, then I will have an excuse, yes, it’s time to buy shoes.

Ballerina is my all time favourite, I need to walk a lot in work, so, I am giving myself permit to buy a few, it’s not healthy to walk in high heels… yea yea yea, I know this reason is quite lame… I especially like the one in camel colour, they are very comfy, the bases have thin cushions. I bought them together with the black, both pairs cost me less than RM80. The grey and white pairs were bought from Taiwan, I like the grey, the white is cute too but I still couldn’t know how to match them with my outfits.

Shoes-mania 2

Compare to last time, I used to have 20 pairs shoes in my rack, but now, I think I have only about 10 pairs. I didn't take all out to count like what I did in my previous post Shoes-mania, but these pairs are my most frequent-wear shoes.

I took them out to clean and "sun-bath". Look at them, are they in a discussion on how their owner treat them?

This is one of my favourite, it's very high but very comfortable.

Another one of my favourites, very light-weighted and fit my legs very well.

This is a new-joined to my collection, it's a little loose for me, but very comfortable, I should have tried it well before buying this size.

My favourite type of shoes, ballarina. I love this pair because they have a little bit of elegant touch.

I love this pair too, although they have gave me a lot of painful experience. I bought this for my Europe trip. Because I was in hurry, so I made the same mistake again, I didn't tried it properly, I love the colour combination (red & gold stripes), love the padding design at the bottom of the shoes but the back of the shoes hurt my achilles tendon area when I walked extensively. But they are still my favourite short trip travelling shoes.

Now I'm more caution in spending, each of us has only pair of legs, we actually do not need so many pairs of shoes, but I always believe, we must have at least a few for different occasion, exercise, social event/ party, working and casual. We must wear the right one, not only for beauty, but for health too. A good pair of shoe can bring you everywhere you wish to go.

Bangkok Trip (1-3 Jul)

If you still remember my "Met the Thief" story, it was happened a day before my Bangkok trip... so, of course I will share a little bit of my traveling dairy here. Why there's only a little bit? Because I was still very "pening" (dizzy) after the punch! Furthermore, it's only a 3D2N trip, merely a shopping trip, how much can I say about shopping? (Shopping is not my favorite activity).

1st Day
Woke up very early, first thing that I did was looking at the mirror if my face has swollen or bruise. Ok, my face still fine, head a bit heavy and my skin a bit tight (I think my face swollen a bit but not noticeable).
Once on board, I slept through the whole journey to Bangkok from KL.

Usually I will be very excited but this time, I left most of things to my friends. Our trip was a free and easy trip, we didn't arrange transportation from airport to hotel, so, instead of hiring cab to hotel, we engaged a half day city tour with a local tour agent which also include transportation to hotel.

There were 6 of us, separated into 2 groups in different cars. We told the driver we stayed in First House Hotel, without further asking or map pointing, he started the engine and drove us to our "hotel". I got a question here, is there any speed limit on the road? He was driving so fast until all of us kept finding if there's any speed limit sign.

When we reached, bell boy helped us to carry luggage to the hotel, and we told him we need to wait for another group of people. Manatau, waited for about half an hour (I went toilet, friend bought bread and we ate some, taking photos of their swimming pool and I felt asleep on the sofa in lobby...), my friends started to worry, so she went to the counter to check, OMG, that's First Hotel, not First House (FH) Hotel. The FH hotel was 2 streets further down the road. So, 3 of us were like mad girl, pulling our big luggage to find FH hotel.

When we reached there, 3 of the other girls and the tour guide were waiting for us. We quickly throw our luggage to our rooms and without any minute delay, we started our journey by... lunch la, of course!

After our lunch, the tour guide brought us to a tailor shop which custom made suit or shirt or gown for tourist... ermm, quite pricey, so non of us get anything there

After that, he brought us to a jewelry shop...
(oh no, we were real tourists = water fishes)

Of course, some of us bought something... but me, still empty handed... head still dizzy, no mood to look into each of the item.

Usually Chinese has "Mun Shen" (God of Door, guarding our house), in Wat Po, we saw this, served the same purpose but the God wear western suit and hat. Did you notice his bow tie? hehe

Then we went to Wat Traimit - Temple of the Golden Buddha
Because we wanted to go to China Town, so, the tour guide ended our half day tour there

Opposite the temple, we saw a lady was feeding cats... a lot of cats... and most of the cats are very beautiful... I think she is a kind lady, feeding those poor abundant cats in the temple with her own money

We asked the driver dropped us at China Town, we planned to have our dinner there and go back to hotel on our own

Frankly speaking, while we were in China Town, I was really exhausted and my head became heavier and heavier...
Hence, I didn't border to take pictures of our dinner and so on.

After dinner, my friends were continue shopping till late night at Suan Lum Night Market. And I took a shower and slept dead on my bed.

2nd Day
On the 2nd day, I can describe our trip with one word - SHOPPING!!!
Platinum Shopping Mall was right opposite from where we stayed. What else a normal girl will do? Shopping lo... Day to night.
But, there are some tips for you to shop in such a big shopping mall:
1. Have to buy at least 3 pieces then only the owner will give you wholesales price.
2. Can't try-fit at all, but you can bring buy it and bring back to hotel to try, they normally allow you to change size or color.
3. If you see something you like, buy it straight away, don't wait or tell yourself you can go compare the other and come back later, NO, you might not find back the same place. And most of their stock are different.
4. Do not separate with your friends, or you might waste a lot of time looking for them.
5. Plan before you shop, or you will end up buying a lot of "non-sense" because everything seems nice.
What else? I'm not a professional shopper, that's just a bit of my shopping tips to shop in Platinum la.

3rd Day
Busy to do our last minute shopping and changing the clothes or things that we bought on 2nd day.
And in the morning I received a bad news regarding my friend's father passed away. So, beside than tired, I wasn't in mood for any. Just wish that I can reached home on time and go to see him as soon as possible.

Although I'm not a professional shopper nor a big fans of shopping, but look at what I've bought! And I'm the one spending the least! Can you imagine how many clothes that my friends bought?

My biggest satisfaction is the shoes that I bought, I bought 3 pairs, they are adorable right?

If you ask me if I will go back to Bangkok again? Yes, but I think next time I really need to shop wisely. I actually want to get more working attire, but end up a lot of t-shirts. If there were no "punching" and "friend's dad passed away" kind of bad things happen, the trip will be happier lo.

Shoes-mania

I love shoes... but I got small feet. I'm only wearing, sometimes 5.5 or 6, even I'm 160cm tall. What so good about small feet? I can wear any display shoes in shops :)

That day, I took out all my shoes, wanted to count the exact number of pair of shoes that I have. You know what? I got 20 pairs (currently)!!!! Excluding those I've donated out each year. I think this is normal for a gal, who has more than 5 pair of shoes, at least, agree?

1. Exercise shoes (of course this is for workout)

2. Party shoes (normally refer to those killer high heel)

3. Slippers (is a must to keep in car, so we can change and drive and don't have to spoil our high heel)

4. Working shoes (comfortable and at the same time must be trendy)

5. Shopping/walking shoes (need not be only high heel, cause we need to wear it to shop whole day, easy to take off so that we could try on another pair of shoes)

Whereas, guys need only

1. Sport shoes (they can wear sport shoes to anywhere, or sometimes wearing slippers)

2. Leather shoes (as working shoes and party!)

See the different? Well, taking photos with my shoes, cropping and editing the photos, post it online and writing blog for my shoes collection, you must be thinking I'm crazy... Yes, I'm crazy for shoes... especially those classy shoes... :p

The white color ballerinas is my most-worn shoes. It's easy to match with my clothes, because I'm not a colorful girl, most of my clothes are in white, black or grey, kind of dull right? But this is me!

The gold color sandals and dark purple strappy sandals are my seldom-worn killing high heel party shoes. I seldom go party, even I do, I prefer peep toe, trendy and more comfortable.

Oh yeah! not to forget to introduce my boot. I love wearing boot to work, my work need me to walk a lot, wearing this snowfly boot is super comfortable. Friends always think wearing boot is very stuffy, no no, at least I never had smelly feet after wearing it for a long day!

Among them, I love my maroon and black peep-toe. Very classic and lady, plus, the heel is not too high, they can match my jeans very well.

Although I like wearing my ballerina, but this brown ballerina makes my feet look small, so, I seldom wear it.

Pumps & Mules
They are my working shoes, except the left bottom dark blue mules. The black pointed-head is my latest collection, from Hush Puppy, very formal shoes.

The pink and the top left hand side brown color pointed-head shoes have same design but different material, brown one is PVC and the pink is jeans type. Both of them are my most-frequent-wear working shoes, the only reason is, they are very comfortable. If you have watched the F4 Taiwanese drama series, The Meteor Garden 1, one of the actress said, lady must has a pair of comfortable shoes, because it carries you around. She's absolutely right!

The left bottom dark blue pointed-head shoes is one of my party shoes. Bought it years ago, but very classic and durable. Love to wear it to party!

I used to wear sport shoes wherever I go, but as I become older, friends said I need to be lady a little bit... that's why now, I wear my ballerinas, pumps...
