I'm a Rockin' Girl Blogger!

Fu-Yoh! (Don't get me wrong, I'm not advertising for any telecommunication company...) I've just got an award from my deary Kitman. So, I'm not one of the Rockin' Girl Blogger!!! Feel like somebody has added a pair of wings on my shoulder and now I can fly!
So, I have the responsibility to pass the power on to some other girl bloggers who I think they have rock my world.

So, the awards go to... drum please...

1. Lingzie! Sweetest girl in the world! She has a very informative food blog. If you have run out of idea where to eat or you are planning a "cari makan" trip to Penang, you wouldn't want to miss her blog. Why? You will know why when you click in.

2. ahCheo! A very outspoken, hottest loving mom in the world... I like her way to comment, I like her way to express what she want to say, of course, I enjoy reading her blog.

3. Last but not least... the golden Rockin' Girl Blogger goes to... Pretty-Knitty! She is getting more and more professional in both blogging and knitting... keep it up girl! Although I started to blog before her, but she has put in such a big effort in learning how to blog, learning the html language, beautifying each and single corner of her blog by reading and trial and error. For serious blogger, you absolute can learn a lot and get a lot of good idea in blogging.

Shoes-mania

I love shoes... but I got small feet. I'm only wearing, sometimes 5.5 or 6, even I'm 160cm tall. What so good about small feet? I can wear any display shoes in shops :)

That day, I took out all my shoes, wanted to count the exact number of pair of shoes that I have. You know what? I got 20 pairs (currently)!!!! Excluding those I've donated out each year. I think this is normal for a gal, who has more than 5 pair of shoes, at least, agree?

1. Exercise shoes (of course this is for workout)

2. Party shoes (normally refer to those killer high heel)

3. Slippers (is a must to keep in car, so we can change and drive and don't have to spoil our high heel)

4. Working shoes (comfortable and at the same time must be trendy)

5. Shopping/walking shoes (need not be only high heel, cause we need to wear it to shop whole day, easy to take off so that we could try on another pair of shoes)

Whereas, guys need only

1. Sport shoes (they can wear sport shoes to anywhere, or sometimes wearing slippers)

2. Leather shoes (as working shoes and party!)

See the different? Well, taking photos with my shoes, cropping and editing the photos, post it online and writing blog for my shoes collection, you must be thinking I'm crazy... Yes, I'm crazy for shoes... especially those classy shoes... :p

(I just found another pair of pumps hiding under my car front seat... opps, lazy to take the picture all over again and do the photoshop cropping, just leave it la...)

The white color ballerinas is my most-worn shoes. It's easy to match with my clothes, because I'm not a colorful girl, most of my clothes are in white, black or grey, kind of dull right? But this is me!

The gold color sandals and dark purple strappy sandals are my seldom-worn killing high heel party shoes. I seldom go party, even I do, I prefer peep toe, trendy and more comfortable.

Oh yeah! not to forget to introduce my boot. I love wearing boot to work, my work need me to walk a lot, wearing this snowfly boot is super comfortable. Friends always think wearing boot is very stuffy, no no, at least I never had smelly feet after wearing it for a long day!

Peep-toe shoes & ballerina shoes.
Among them, I love my maroon and black peep-toe. Very classic and lady, plus, the heel is not too high, they can match my jeans very well.

Although I like wearing my ballerina, but this brown ballerina makes my feet look small, so, I seldom wear it.

Pumps & Mules
They are my working shoes, except the left bottom dark blue mules. The black pointed-head is my latest collection, from Hush Puppy, very formal shoes.

The pink and the top left hand side brown color pointed-head shoes have same design but different material, brown one is PVC and the pink is jeans type. Both of them are my most-frequent-wear working shoes, the only reason is, they are very comfortable. If you have watched the F4 Taiwanese drama series, The Meteor Garden 1, one of the actress said, lady must has a pair of comfortable shoes, because it carries you around. She's absolutely right!

The left bottom dark blue pointed-head shoes is one of my party shoes. Bought it years ago, but very classic and durable. Love to wear it to party!

My sport/running/walking shoes
I used to wear sport shoes wherever I go, but as I become older, friends said I need to be lady a little bit... that's why now, I wear my ballerinas, pumps...

I bought this pair in Singapore... this pumps are from Charles & Keith, Singapore local designer brand.

My Favourite Songs

I don't think my taste is very special, but sometimes I think my taste is relatively difficult to catch or predict. Like the following, I'm going to share 2 of my favorite songs from my "hubby", David Tao, I'm sorry, but I'm too use to call him "hubby", my ideal type of man, not going to describe my ideal type of man here, cause I don't want to be out of the topic again, but David Tao is a real talented man.

1st song is from his 1st album, [David Tao], love it so much, not only like the melody (very R&B), but mainly because the lyrics is very touching, speaks right to a woman's heart. -

2nd song, the music is totally different, it's a rap song, very wordy, unlike the 1st one, short, simple and nice. But, don't get me wrong, the lyrics is as beautiful as the 1st one.

This is from David's 2nd album, [I'm OK]. I get to know him from this album as well. So, this album is still my favorite one.

The lyrics tells us every individual is different, we need to learn how to love each other, we can't discriminate others who has different culture, different believes, or others from different races or nationality.

Bread Basket Bakery - The passion of baking

Last Sunday, 29th July 2007, aka Kelvin & Siow Hui wedding-date announcement day, A33 has a small gathering at Joanne's brother bakery shop - Bread Basket Bakery.

The shop is located in Kota Kemuning (please refer to the map at the bottom of this post for further details). Not very difficult to find although we are from, Cheras, PJ, Kepong, Subang...

When we reached there, wah, amazing, the shop appearance is absolutely professional, and the cake display is the main attraction, just like the tag of the shop, the passion of baking, you will definitely feel their passion when you taste the food.

Caution: I'm sorry, if you are very hungry right now, you are advised not to scroll down and see those picture. I'm not responsible for those who have gone mad of hunger after seeing this. :p

Fairlady - Strawberry cake
The snow-white outer coat makes the cake "shine". I can't imagine if I have bought this cake, how am I going to make the first cut...

Mango Lychee
Oh, this cake is so unique. I have never seen this cake elsewhere. So, I ordered one for everybody to taste and ordered one, bring back to office for my colleagues, ehehe, doing promotion for Joanne as well.

Berry Island
I'm sorry if you mis-seen this cake as chocolate in color, it's actually a very romantic purple in color. Although I'm not a fans to berry, I will definitely give it a try on my next visit.

Oh, can you see how much blueberry the chef uses to make this cake?

Another unique chocolate cake. Joanne, can caffeine-allergy person like me take this cake?

All these were prepared by Joanne's brother... What I can say is, bring more friends to the shop and each of you order different dishes, so you can taste all of them. If you ask me which is the most delicious one, oh, sorry, all of them are so so so good.

Digi Yellow Men!

"I'll follow you..."

Remember the Digi advertisement? Especially the Chinese New Year one, feng shui sifu pointing at a corner and said, "好旺(黄)啊，里度好旺(黄)啊！", actually he is pointing at the Digi yellow man and the Digi yellow man acted 无辜(innocent). And another advertisement, you will see that before your movie start in cinema. The gangster said "Who care, I'm dai go ma!" and the yellow man next to him was crying and acted "pai se"... I think this yellow man "strategy" is so successful... not to forget the "Fu-yoh" slogan also.

So, last Saturday Shook Fun, Keat, Siow Hui, Kelvin and me went to 988 anniversary celebration party and Digi, being one of the main sponsors, has sent a few yellow man walking around and teasing people. When we saw them, wah, we were like little kids seeing cute mascot, wanted to take photo with them but feel a little bit scare. They were all wearing yellow suit and boots, face was colored with yellow paint (but when we reached, I think the paint was faded due to heavy sweat). Inside their suit, they were all stuffed with cushion, so they can looked fat, all of them actually sweat like nobody business, even when we were touching them, we can feel their suit were all wet.
